Poziv za prijavljivanje – „War or Peace. Crossroads of History 1918 | 2018“

U periodu od 17. do 21. oktobra 2018. godine, u Berlinu će se održati festival „War or Peace. Crossroads of History 1918 | 2018“. Poziv je namenjen mladima od 18 do 30 godina. Svi troškovi puta i smeštaja su pokriveni. Rok za prijavljivanje je 15. jul 2018. godine.

The event marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War and links numerous workshops to a varied cultural programme.

To offer more young interested persons between 18 and 30 years of age the opportunity to participate in the festival, the application deadline has been extended until 15 July 2018. 400 participants from Europe and many other countries will have the opportunity to discuss new perspectives on war and peace in history and in today’s world.

The main purpose is to bring personal project experiences to workshops and to meet people from all over the world to intensively work on a topic. Participants will illuminate various historical narratives and developments that originated the post-1918 period but still reverberate today, and discuss their significance for the here and now.

The central venue is the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin which will contribute a diverse and varied cultural programme to the festival. Participants of the festivals’ Campus will be accommodated at a central hostel in Berlin in shared rooms. Travel costs will partly be reimbursed.
